Information we collect

Contact details (name, company, email, phone) and project information you submit through our request-for-quotation (RFQ) form, by email or by phone.

Engineering documents you choose to upload. These may contain commercially sensitive or critical-infrastructure information and are handled under our information security management system.

Why we collect it

To respond to enquiries, prepare proposals, deliver services, manage our supplier and client relationships, and meet legal obligations.

Disclosure

We disclose personal information only to staff and contractors who need it for your request, to service providers who host our systems under confidentiality obligations, or where required by law. We do not sell personal information.

Overseas disclosure

Our hosting providers may store data in data centres outside Australia. Where this occurs we take reasonable steps to ensure the information is protected consistently with the APPs.

Security and retention

Information is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is role-based with multi-factor authentication for staff, and access is logged. We retain information only for as long as required by our retention schedule and then delete it.

Access and correction

You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you. Contact our Privacy Officer at welcome@gridlinks.com.au. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
